Britannia Bars

Our Britannia gold minted bars come protected in serialised security packaging and are printed with a unique serial number that matches the number imprinted on the gold bar itself, acting as a certificate of authenticity. Presented in equally secure, Britannia-branded blister packaging, investors can add Britannia gold bars to their portfolio with peace of mind in security, quality, and reliability. 

Britannia gold bars are available to purchase in a variety of sizes including 1g, 5g, 10g, 20g, 50g & 100g, offering flexibility for all levels of gold investment. 

Investment/Cast Gold Bars

Cast gold bullion bars are considered as a cost-effective solution for investors looking to diversify their investment portfolio. Due to the often-lower manufacturers premium these gold bullion bars can be more attractive for those looking to invest in gold with a lower premium, or those that are looking to include it in their Pensions.  

Our cast gold bullion bars are available in 500g and 1kg sizes and are competitively priced based on the live market rate.  

Buying Gold Bars

The Royal Mint offers free delivery on all orders of its gold bullion bars throughout the UK. We also offer free delivery to international territories when you spend over £250/$250/€250 (T&Cs apply). Alternatively, when you buy gold bullion bars direct from The Royal Mint, you’ll also have the convenient option of storing your investment in our on-site storage facility, The Vault®. 

When choosing to store in our Vault®, your gold bullion bar(s) will be delivered, independently audited, and fully insured. Plus, when you buy direct from The Royal Mint and store in The Vault®, you can benefit from our Buy Back Facility.  

As a part of this, your gold bullion bars will be held securely – outside of the banking and London Clearing System – and can be liquidated at your request, no matter the time of day. Equally, you may choose to have part or all your vault holding, including any size gold bar, delivered to you at your registered address at any time. 

For customers interested in CGT exempt bullion products, our range of gold Sovereign, Britannia, Royal Tudor Beasts and Myths & Legends bullion coins are both VAT free and CGT (UK only) exempt due to their status as legal tender.
